From a recent Throwdown interview:
"Sure, there will always be a handful in every band’s fan base that just can’t be pleased, but they aren’t necessarily ‘fans’ to begin with, just critics with no soapbox. They’ll cry when you don’t put out the exact same record as the one that introduced them to the band but will also crucify you for “playing it safe”…kinda like a lot of journalists haha. Those people will be shocked to tears, will pollute our myspace page with misspelled and incoherent attempts at expressing disapproval and then demand the money back that they didn’t spend downloading the album with Bit Torrent."
