MTV: Dr. Dre's Headphones Make Him Highest Paid Rapper

Dr. Dre rocked Coachella with an all-star cast of collaborators past and present (and even deceased) but his long-awaited Detox has yet to fill his absence from the record shelves. Despite a recent LP release, Dre was still this year's highest-paid rapper. How'd he do it? Beats by Dre, of course, which now accounts for more than half of the high-end headphone market. Dre managed to pass his peers like Diddy, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Lil Wayne, who rounded out the top five. CLICK HERE to read the rest of my report.
